History Students Win Awards

Two of our graduate students won the Graduate School Outstanding Thesis Awards this past Spring. Chris Dinkel’s thesis, “Moon Rocks and Meditations: Cooperation and Competition in Space Race Diplomacy,” and Gary Younger’s thesis, “Sitting Bull and Geronimo: A Comparison of their Military and Religious Leadership,” were two of twelve theses presented with this honor.
Undergraduate student, Brianna Kendig, won best undergraduate history paper award presented by the Kansas Association of Historians. Brianna’s paper was titled, “The Delphic Oracles.”
Our undergraduate and graduate students continue to do outstanding research, present papers at professional conferences, and publish articles in professional journals.
